In the first quarter of 2025, the film and television app market in Lebanon displayed varied performance across the top five applications. Data sourced from Sensor Tower provides detailed insights into the weekly downloads and active user trends for these apps.
VOX Cinemas App experienced fluctuations in downloads, starting strong with 215 downloads in early January and eventually dipping to a low of 18 by mid-March. However, it rebounded to 168 downloads by the end of March. Active users saw a gradual decrease from 705 at the beginning of the quarter to 548 by the end.
Grand Cinemas Lebanon began the quarter with 214 downloads, declining to a low of 20 in late February, before recovering to 155 by the end of March. Unfortunately, data on active users was not available.
TodayTix – Broadway Tickets maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, averaging around 60-70 downloads weekly. Active users remained stable, starting at 335 and slightly fluctuating to end at 323.
Empire Cinemas saw minimal download activity, with numbers ranging from 1 to 14 per week. Active users showed a slight decline, starting at 343 and ending at 292.
Finally, muvi Cinemas had very low download numbers, ranging from 1 to 3 weekly downloads. Active users remained consistent at around 5 to 6 throughout the quarter.
